Go Fore It! began as a story — a young man discovering the game of golf and quickly realizing how few people who looked like him were on the course.
That realization became a mission.
Go Fore It! exists to introduce young people from diverse backgrounds to the game of golf — not just as a sport, but as a gateway to confidence, opportunity, education, and career pathways.
Through the work of the RLE Go Fore It! Foundation, we are breaking barriers, expanding access, and creating experiences that many youth would not otherwise have.
Golf is more than a game. It’s a network. It’s exposure. It’s leadership development.
And every child deserves access to it.
Join us as we build a more inclusive future — one swing at a time.
Go Fore It! A Family and Golf Story is an engaging, middle-grade novel that helps students explore identity, purpose, and perseverance through the lens of family, sports, and community support.
The story follows Tyler, a middle school student who begins to question expectations placed on him and discovers a new passion in the game of golf. As Tyler navigates self-confidence, peer influence, and family expectations, students are invited to reflect on their own interests, goals, and decision-making.
More than a sports story, Go Fore It! introduces students to:
Written with middle school readers in mind, the book includes discussion prompts and reflection opportunities that make it ideal for:
Go Fore It! encourages students to think critically about who they are, what excites them, and how their interests today can connect to opportunities tomorrow.

That Sunday in church, Tyler felt the sermon was tailored directly toward him, and what he was embarking on with his golf journey. The text the pastor used came from 2 Timothy 1:7 “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us Power, love and self discipline.”

“Hey you guys are just in time for dinner; the food will be ready in a few minutes. Asia, you have to stay for dinner too. We are having Cornish hens, ham, wild rice, broccoli, and sweet potatoes, and I have prepared enough for you too. So, just come on in and relax.”

Stepping up to the ball, she said, “here we go.” She addressed the ball with her club, took one last peek at the flag, then eyes back on the ball. She began her back swing then forward, and the ball took flight. It was a beautiful first shot from the tee.

Ronald, now owner of the newly renamed “RLE Full Service Automotive”, set out to make changes to improve the shop as outlined in his business plan. Part of the changes included expanding the shop to add additional garage bays which allowed him to hire 2 new mechanics and an additional service tech.

I believe competition brings out the best in athletes. It pushes you to dig deeper than you would ordinarily dig, you can learn from the other competitors and it forces you to learn how to focus singularly while blocking out distractions. All great traits that will serve you well throughout life’s journey.

Go Fore It! encourages you to pick up a set of golf clubs and take your shot. Whether you are climbing the corporate ladder, an entrepreneur, a student-athlete, or simply looking to get a little exercise, adding a few rounds of golf can only help.

Born in Queens, New York, and raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Christopher Everett learned early that character is built in moments of challenge.
Before terms like “microaggressions” were common, he experienced them firsthand — from being removed from a sixth-grade class over a misunderstanding of respect, to being told by a high school baseball coach that the only thing he and the other Black teammate could do better than others was run. Maybe they should just try track.
He did run.
But he also led.
Christopher went on to become a multi-sport student-athlete, earning a football scholarship to North Carolina Central University, where he played four years and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.
Behind every success was a village.
A father who modeled discipline and presence.
A mother who provided steady belief and unwavering support.
A sister who blazed the trail as the first college graduate in the family (Hofstra University) and showed him what was possible.
Scout leaders, coaches, pastors, dentists, mentors — men and women who opened doors, created opportunities, and refused to let potential go unseen.
They didn’t just advise him. They invested in him.
Those investments shaped a 25+ year career in banking, a life rooted in faith and family, and a deep commitment to mentorship.
Today, Christopher is a devoted husband to Kimberly and proud father of three. His mission is clear: to be part of someone else’s village especially for youth who need exposure, opportunity, and leadership that believes in them.
Through RLE Impel Productions and the Go Fore It! brand, he creates content that reflects possibility. He is especially passionate about introducing young people to the game of golf, a sport that opens doors to education, networks, and careers many never see.
Because exposure changes confidence.
Confidence changes trajectory.
And leadership is about lifting while you climb.
Christopher Everett isn’t just telling stories.
He's building bridges.
